When I was a teenager my friends and I took a lot of photos. We did not have a nice camera but we never thought about it. The camera was just a tool, like the ball in a soccer game. The pictures were purely for fun. We still swap these pictures back and forth years later. They remind me of good friends and good times. As my interest in photography grew and with it the quality of the images I took, the meaning didn’t change. Photos are fun. Whether it is a ‘serious’ studio shot or a total ridiculous make believe scene just for laughs, we hold strong memories to photos and the times in our lives they represent. That is what I love making.
